As a child, Alexia is involved in a car accident that leaves her with a head injury. When she emerges from surgery with a titanium plate, she seems to have a strange emotional and visceral connection to cars. Years later, Alexia works as an exotic dancer at motor shows where she writhes provocatively on automobiles, to a leering male audience. When one man harasses her, he is swiftly dispatched, kicking off a series of murders. But just as the violence ratchets up, Titane transforms into something far more tender, as Alexia takes on the role of a long-missing son of firefighter Vincent. But this is no normal family idyll, for sex with cars can have unintended consequences.
